Have you imagined running out onto the pitch of a 75,000 seater stadium? Does the chance to see Real Madrid´s nine European cups and the host of other trophies in the flesh interest you?

If the answer is yes then then the Real Madrid stadium tour is for you!

Whats in the tour?

Starting at the base of Torre A you´ll climb up to the highest part of the stadium to get a "fans eye" view of the pitch from the famous "Fondo Sur", home of Real Madrids most vociferous supporters. After photos and a quick analysis of the different tiers that were added to the original Santiago Bernabeu its of to the "Palco de Honor".

The "Palco de honor", roughly translated to mean "The balcony of honour" is the executive seating on the half way line reserved for ex players, directors of Real Madrid and the Spanish Royal family. Quite a difference from where the fans sit!!!

From the Palco de Honor its a short walk through the internal workings of the Santiago Bernabeu to the Real Madrid dressing room. Here you can see how and where "los blancos" prepare for each game as well as passing various memrobilia on the way to the dressing room.

Logically the place to go after the dressing room is through the players tunnel, up the steps and out on to the pitch. If the view at the begining of the tour was panoramic here you feel the stadium around you on all sides. A great place for those touchline photos!

Crossing the pitch you head over to the other side of the stadium and once again enter into the bowels of the stadium. Up a few flights of stairs and your in the Real Madrid trophy room. As one would imagine the room is enormous and includes the nine european cups as well as the Uefa cups, Spanish league titles, World super cups and the other numerous trophies won by Real Madrid throughout its long history.

Naturally the Real Madrid stadium tour finishes at the Real Madrid club shop where you can purchase all manner of memrobilia and regalia... As well as a few lesser known souvenirs such as Real Madrid wine or baby clothes!
