The Zoo takes part in many international breeding programmes and is considered to be one of the worlds leaders for certain species. Justifiablly so the Zoo is proud of this reputation and is more than happy to explain wildlife conservation to all ages.
Madrid Zoo Essential InfoPanda:The Panda at Madrid zoo has been a sensation since its arrival however the 23rd December 2010 was an extra special day as the Zoo welcomed two baby pandas through a successful breeding program!

Pricing 2011:0-3 years old: Free3-7 Years old: 15,25€ 8-65 Years old: 18,80€ Retired: 15,25€ For those families with three or more children prices are reduced to 11,10€ for 7-65 year olds and 7,60€ for childen between 3 and 7. Proof of relationship is required to purchase these tickets.
