| Cordoba sits on the main high speed train line between Madrid and Sevilla as well as Madrid and Malaga. Due to this very favourable positioning over 20 trains a day ply the route Cordoba Madrid in each direction. With city center to city center being just 2 hrs it is possible to do a day trip to Cordoba from Madrid although an overnight stay to sample the Andalucian food is most highly recomended.
