The high speed train Madrid Valladolid runs up to six times a day and tickets for both it and the Alvia start at 30€ for a single and 45€ return. It is however possible to get fares as low as 13€ each way with advance purchase.

The Intercity / Regional trains cost considerably less at 15€ one way and 23€ return. This longer routing allows you to visit the historic walled city of Avila by taking the regional train as well as enjoying the scenery in Madrids mountains.

Madrid Valladolid by busRegular Bus services Madrid Valladolid are operated by the Spanish coach company ALSA. Total journey time is around 2.5 hours depending on the departure time and traffic enroute and departures run throughout the day 24hrs.

Although the majority of services depart from the Estacion del sur de Madrid there are two daily departures from Intercambiador Avenida de América (Metro and bus station).

Tickets for the coach Madrid Valladolid cost 12.50€ each way and can be reserved online at Todobus - Spains official online bus ticket sales center.
