Six daily flights conect Madrid to Almeria and are provided by Iberias regional affiliate Air Nostrum (5x daily) and the independent airline Spanair (Once daily). Flight time is 1 hour. All flights Madrid Almeria depart from Madrid airport

Twice daily service using the Talgo (a modern and well equipped train modeled on the high speed Ave) with departures from Madrid early morning (0800) and mid afternoon 1515.

Journey time is just over six hours and tickets can be booked in advance for as little as 25€ each way. Tickets can be purchased online at Renfe.

3 daily bus services operate between Madrid and Almeria departing Madrid at 0930, 1500 and 1700 with each taking 7 hours to complete the trip. In addition there are also two overnight buses that depart at 2300 and 2400 and arrive 7 hours later. The 2300 service also connects Madrid to Almeria Puerto (port) arriving after 7 and a half hours.

Tickets can be reserved via Movelia and cost 25€ each way. All journeys depart from Estacion del sur de Madrid Station layout
